What’s a ‘Valium pill’? (Fans: Robert Pattinson related)?

I just read that Robert Pattinson took a quarter of a Valium pill before his twilight audition, I just wondered like what it is, what it does, etc.

Thanks x

Answer:

what Devon said plus it is a muscle relaxer. I took it when I threw my back out. It is not an anti-depressant!

I have asked before about valium and if authority needs to be issued before the drug can be prescribed.?

However, after talking with my doctors, none of them will prescribe me valium. And for the record it is not related to any sort of form of drug abuse, its purely for medicinal (?) purposes only.

Answer:

You have found out it is prescription only and that is for good reason.
Withdrawal effects from the benzodiazepines is very very unpleasant.
If you buy online there is a good chance it will be bogus, perhaps even a harmful product.
They will charge the earth and bombard you with spam for ever more.

If valium can be fatal what would constitute an overdose for an adult?

Answer:

It would take rather a lot to overdose. The effect would be that your heart and brain slowed down so much, they’d give up altogether. The amount required depends how robust your constitution is. The main problem with Valium and related drugs is that they are habit forming. It’s a bit like booze – you start with a stiff drink when you’re facing troublesome times and you finish up needing 2 bottles of Scotch to get you out of bed in the morning.

Hydrocodone is part of codeine or valium?

I was hospitalized last week due to allergic reactions to Hydrocodone. Out of the curiousity, which is it actually related to codeine or valium?

can you take valium while getting a piercing if your doctor prescribed it to you for needle related pain?

i want to get my tragus and belly button pierced, and my doctor prescribed me to valium for me to get blood work done, and needle related pain.
is this allowable or will it get the piercer in trouble because i would be “drugged” up?

Answer:

How do you determine a death by potassium when valium and alcohol were also involved?

How much potassium is needed to stop your heart? How much valium? How much alcohol?

Answer:

I would think the medical examiner would have the answers to these questions. They run all types of toxicology test which tell them how much of a substance was in the deceased’ blood. They also know the amounts of a substance it would take to stop a heart. If this is someone related to you, your family has the right to get this info from the M.E. office. Good luck. Some times you have to just come to the realization that you can’t help some people, and have to let them go, though I know it is much easier said then done.Best wishes.
