The drug test is for a intership at a hosiptal. Do they test for Valium? and if so, what is a excuse i can use to why it is in my system. BTW i do not have a presciption.
Answer:
they test for all narcotic agents and illegal drugs. sorry there is no valid excuse that ANY medical facility will accept if you’re taking narcotics without a prescription. that’s just how the system works… no employer is going to hire someone into a medical position that is taking prescription medicine that isnt their own prescription. it’s too much of a risk to their business that you might steal drugs. to the other poster… valium is still used very commonly in the elderly and in patients that have spinal/back surgeries and diseases that cause muscle spasms
No there is no excuse. It is against the law to use prescribed drugs without prescription. Valium is rarely used these days. It used to be used a lot about 10 or 20 years ago. you chances are not good. STOP USING IT so you won’t lose life

If you don’t have a prescription, you don’t have a valid excuse. So please don’t get your internship; we don’t need drs like you.
Sorry about your bad luck! There is no excuse to be taking prescription medication without a prescription. If you are trying to get an internship to a hospital, lay off the Valium! It does show up in a drug test!
Being that it is against federal law to transfer prescription medications to anyone but who it is prescribed for, there is no excuse. Sorry
not a medical internship!!?? a medical student would know the answer to your question. ya, valium is bad stuff… real addictive.
there is no valid reason for taking medication that’s not prescribed to you. If you test positive for something, I would imagine any employer would want to see your prescription for it to validate that a doctor asks you to take the medication.
I would imagine you’d test positive for benzodiazepams.
