Valium stays in your body for at least 5 days. It has a long half life of 20-50 hours. It has active metabolites which increase its duration of action in the body. It is the longest acting benzodiazpine. If you want your body to be clean of any Valium, make sure you do not take anything at least 5 to 6 days before your drug test.
